Can You Play Super Mario Bros. Wonder on PC? PC vs. Nintendo Switch

Nintendo’s official listings identify Super Mario Bros. Wonder as a Switch game, not a PC release. Here’s what that means for play modes, multiplayer, and the Switch 2 Edition.

No official PC version of Super Mario Bros. Wonder is identified by Nintendo. Nintendo lists the original game for Nintendo Switch and says on its game site that it is “Available now — only on the Nintendo Switch™ system!” That means there are no official PC and Switch editions to compare for graphics, performance, controls, or system requirements. The practical choice is whether to play on Switch, or, if you own the game already, consider Nintendo’s Switch 2 Edition.

Is Super Mario Bros. Wonder available on PC?

Nintendo’s US product listing and official game site identify Super Mario Bros. Wonder as a Nintendo Switch game; neither lists a PC release. Nintendo’s site states: “Available now — only on the Nintendo Switch™ system!” The available official information therefore supports a straightforward answer: there is no official PC version to buy or compare with the Switch game.

This is a statement about Nintendo’s official availability information, not about unofficial ways people may try to run a game. Nintendo’s sources reviewed here do not provide PC system requirements, a PC price, or PC-specific graphics and performance details.

What differs between PC and Switch?

There is no official PC build to place side by side with the Switch release. The useful comparison is availability and setup:
