Yes. The original 2023 ROG Ally runs Windows 11, and Persona 5 Royal has a Windows PC version on Steam, so the published platform details support basic compatibility. That is not an Ally-specific test or a guarantee of a particular frame rate.
Why Persona 5 Royal is compatible with the ROG Ally
The ROG Ally (2023) is a Windows 11 handheld, while Steam lists Persona 5 Royal for Windows. Those platform details support the conclusion that the game can run on the Ally. ASUS lists the 2023 Ally with a Ryzen Z1 Extreme, and its launch announcement identifies both Ryzen Z1 and Ryzen Z1 Extreme configurations. ASUS also notes that specifications vary by model, so check which Ally version you have.
Steam’s listing specifies a 64-bit processor and operating system, Windows 10, an Intel Core i7-4790 or AMD Ryzen 5 1500X, 8 GB RAM, DirectX 11, and 41 GB of available storage as minimum requirements. These are the game’s published PC requirements, not measurements of performance on an Ally.
What to expect from performance
Steam describes the minimum target as low settings at 720p and 60 FPS, and the recommended target as high settings at 1080p and 60 FPS. These figures describe the game’s published PC targets; they do not establish that either ROG Ally configuration will achieve those settings or frame rates. The original 2023 Ally has a 1920 × 1080 display, according to ASUS’s launch announcement, but display resolution alone does not predict in-game performance.
