PlayStation says this figure includes time in-game on a PS5 console or PlayStation Portal. For PS4 activity or a year-by-year look across PS4 and PS5, PlayStation has also offered an annual Wrap-Up—but the 2025 recap closed on January 8, 2026.
How to check your hours on PS5
- Open PlayStation’s PS5 stats page.
- Sign in with the PlayStation account you use on your console.
- View the personalized stats dashboard and look for “Total hours played on PS5.”
PlayStation describes this statistic as in-game time on a PS5 console or PlayStation Portal. Its page does not give a separate console-menu path for finding the figure, so the supported route is the online dashboard.
What the PS5 total includes—and what is not specified
The dashboard labels the statistic as total hours played on PS5 and includes PlayStation Portal play in its description. PlayStation separately says its “Total PS5 games played” count excludes demos, trials, and betas. That statement is about the number of games, not hours; the page does not establish whether those types of play are excluded from the hours total.
The available description also does not promise a complete lifetime total across every PlayStation generation or confirm that every game is tracked. Treat the dashboard as the PS5 hours statistic PlayStation provides, not as a guaranteed all-time total covering every console.

Can you see PS4 hours or a combined PS4-and-PS5 total?
PlayStation’s PS5 stats page is the route for its PS5 total-hours figure. For a broader, year-specific view, PlayStation has offered annual Wrap-Up recaps that include activity across PS4 and PS5. These are seasonal experiences, not a permanent dashboard or a cumulative lifetime counter.
The 2025 Wrap-Up is no longer available
PlayStation announced that the 2025 Wrap-Up could be accessed from December 9, 2025, through January 8, 2026. That window has ended. The recap covered the 2025 calendar year and included total hours across single-player and multiplayer titles; PlayStation said the experience continued updating through the end of the year, so participants needed to return before January 8 to see the full summary. Who qualified for the 2025 recap
The requirements below applied to that campaign only; they should not be assumed to apply to a future Wrap-Up:
- A PlayStation account registered in the user’s region, and adult age or older.
- At least 10 hours of PS4 or PS5 play between January 1 and December 31, 2025.
- For PS5 users, consent to “Full Data” collection in system settings during 2025.
- For PS4 users in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Australasia, India, or Russia, consent to “Additional Data” collection.
PlayStation’s campaign announcement sets out these eligibility conditions. An earlier 2022 Wrap-Up announcement is another example of the year-specific, cross-generation recap format; it does not create a permanent way to retrieve old totals.

PlayStation’s public descriptions do not establish a current permanent combined-hours figure for PS4 and PS5, or a single all-generation lifetime total. If the annual recap window has passed, the PS5 dashboard remains the stated route for the PS5 total.
