Can you sell cars in The Crew 2?
No. A Gamepressure guide last updated July 1, 2018 says players cannot sell vehicles or otherwise remove them from the garage. Ubisoft has not been identified as making an official statement specifically about selling cars, so this answer rests on that game-specific secondary guide.

Can you trade cars with other players?
No supported player-to-player vehicle trading feature is documented in the sources reviewed. Community discussions include requests for a trading option, but those requests show player interest; they are not an official confirmation from Ubisoft about whether trading is available.
Do online and offline modes let you transfer vehicles?
No. Ubisoft says online and offline saves are separate, and progress made offline does not carry back into the online save. In its Hybrid Mode announcement, Ubisoft gives the example that a Bugatti La Voiture Noire bought offline will not appear in the online garage after reconnecting. The offline-mode patch notes say vehicles remain part of the core offline experience, while online-dependent systems are disabled. These mode rules concern separate saves, not selling or trading vehicles.

What can you do with cars you no longer want?
The reviewed guide says vehicles cannot be sold or removed from the garage. A community FAQ says garage space is unlimited, but that explanation is community guidance, not an official Ubisoft statement. The practical option is to keep the vehicle in your collection rather than expect a sale or transfer feature.
