Yes, other people can sometimes use a Nintendo Switch 2 upgrade pack, but you cannot transfer its purchase to another Nintendo Account. You can share access on a console by loading the upgrade pack’s virtual game card, or lend an eligible card to someone in your Nintendo Account family group. Lending is temporary, and the account that bought the pack remains its owner.
Choose the sharing method that matches your setup

Let another profile use the pack on the same console
Load the upgrade pack’s virtual game card on the console where the other profile will play. Nintendo says other users on a console can play the game or DLC available through a card loaded there. The feature applies to compatible virtual game cards on Nintendo Switch 2 and Nintendo Switch systems; title compatibility still matters. Use the pack on a second console you control
Nintendo allows virtual game cards on up to two consoles associated with the purchasing account. Load the card on the console where you intend to use the upgrade pack. This is console access under the buyer’s account, not a change of ownership or a transfer to the other console’s owner.
Lend the card to a family member
For an eligible title, Nintendo’s virtual-game-card lending lets a borrower in your Nintendo Account family group use a card on their console. The two consoles need to be nearby and both online to complete the lending process. Nintendo’s guide allows up to three cards to be lent at once, while each borrower may borrow one game at a time. A loan lasts 14 days unless returned sooner, and you cannot use a card while it is lent. Some games may not support family lending. Nintendo Virtual Game Card Guide.

Why error 2819-0032 suspends play
Nintendo says error 2819-0032 generally means the Nintendo Account was used to play a Nintendo Switch 2 Edition upgrade pack on another console. The message explains that the upgrade pack’s online license and virtual game card cannot be used at the same time. Nintendo error code 2819-0032 support.
- Close the software using the account on the other console; or
- Load the upgrade pack as a virtual game card on the console where you want to play.
If you start the software without the upgrade pack, its additional features and content remain unavailable until you start it normally with the pack accessible.

Do not confuse card lending with GameShare
GameShare is a separate Nintendo Switch 2 feature for supported games, not another way to transfer or lend an upgrade-pack purchase. Nintendo’s compatibility information says Switch 2 can share compatible games with Switch 2 or Switch consoles, while a Switch console can only receive a locally shared game from Switch 2. Check the specific title’s support and compatibility information before relying on either feature. Nintendo Switch 2 compatibility information.
