How to try for a Headless Horseman mount
During Hallow’s End, queue for the Headless Horseman through the Dungeon Finder and defeat him to receive the event’s daily reward opportunity. In Blizzard’s 2025 announcement, the Ghoulish Charger was a chance reward; a run did not guarantee the mount. The same announcement said the encounter also granted a guaranteed random piece of the Horseman’s Ghoulish Armor transmog set.
Blizzard listed characters level 10–80 as eligible for the Dungeon Finder encounter in 2025. That was the rule for that event, not a confirmed 2026 requirement.

When is Hallow’s End 2026?
As of October 8, 2026, Hallow’s End had not begun. A Wowhead calendar lists the event for October 19–November 2, 2026, but that is a secondary-source listing, not an official Blizzard confirmation. Blizzard’s latest detailed announcement in the sources reviewed was for 2025, when the event ran October 18–November 1. Those dates should not be treated as the confirmed 2026 schedule.
Check Blizzard’s current Hallow’s End announcement or the in-game event listing for the final dates and reward rules. Until Blizzard publishes the 2026 details, the 2025 daily chance and level range are useful historical guidance, not a guarantee of this year’s mechanics.
