What happened to Black Beacon?
Black Beacon was a free-to-download mythic sci-fi action RPG published by Glohow for mobile. Its service ended in August 2026, so launch-era descriptions calling it “out now” no longer reflect whether players can access it.

What were its listed Android requirements?
A Google Play listing snapshot updated May 26, 2025 specified Android 6.0 or later. It listed these hardware tiers:
Recommended Free Tools
| Tier | Processors | Memory | Storage |
|---|---|---|---|
| Minimum | Snapdragon 670, Kirin 960, or MediaTek Helio P95 | 4 GB RAM | 8 GB |
| Recommended | Snapdragon 865, Kirin 990, or MediaTek 1000 | 6 GB RAM | 8 GB or more |
The same historical listing mentioned Android and Windows. Because it predates the shutdown, these specifications describe the old listing, not a way to install or run the game today. Google Play listing
