Is there a ray-tracing setting in Minecraft on PS5?
No documented setting or menu path enables ray tracing in the PS5 version of Minecraft. The official Minecraft ray-tracing page describes support for DirectX-capable devices, including GeForce RTX GPUs and select AMD GPUs, and does not list PS5 as a supported platform: Minecraft: Ray tracing.

This conclusion is based on the platforms and features Minecraft documents; the official pages reviewed do not explicitly state in one sentence that ray tracing is unavailable on PS5. There is therefore no verified PS5 graphics-menu switch to recommend.
What Minecraft’s PS5 graphics features mean
Mojang’s September 19, 2024 announcement said the native PS5 version would launch on October 22, 2024, with greater render distance while maintaining 4K resolution and 60 fps. Those are the improvements named in the announcement; they are not described as ray tracing: Mojang’s PS5 release announcement.

Resolution, frame rate, and render distance are distinct from ray tracing. A game can offer the stated PS5 resolution and performance features without exposing Minecraft’s documented ray-tracing implementation.
Will Minecraft Preview enable ray tracing on PS5?
No ray-tracing option is documented in Minecraft Preview’s PS5 installation instructions. Preview is an in-development version, not a verified workaround for enabling ray tracing. To install it, Minecraft Help gives this path:
