Yes. You can sign in to the same PlayStation account on two PS5 consoles, but Sony allows Console Sharing and Offline Play to be enabled on only one PS5 at a time. That setting determines which console’s other users can access your downloaded purchases and some PlayStation Plus benefits.
Using one account on two PS5s is different from enabling sharing
Signing in to your account on a PS5 and designating that console for sharing are separate things. You can use the account on both consoles, but only one can have Console Sharing and Offline Play enabled at a time. Sony states this limit in its PS5 Console Sharing and Offline Play guide.
The sharing-enabled PS5 lets its other users play games and media purchased and downloaded by the account holder, including when that console is offline. If both consoles are used by different people, choose the sharing-enabled one based on where those other users need access.
How to move Console Sharing to the other PS5
- On the PS5 that should provide sharing, open Settings > Users and Accounts > Other > Console Sharing and Offline Play.
- Select Enable. Sony says the feature is automatically allowed on the first PS5 used to sign in to PlayStation. If it is enabled on another PS5, disable it there before enabling it on this one.
If you cannot access the old console, Sony allows you to sign in to Account Management and remotely deactivate all devices. That all-device deactivation can be used only once every six months. See Sony’s instructions for Console Sharing and Offline Play.

What the other users can share
On the PS5 with Console Sharing and Offline Play enabled, other users can access the account holder’s purchased and downloaded games and media, including offline. Some PlayStation Plus benefits can also be shared; the feature does not make every Plus benefit available to every user.
Sony’s guidance identifies online multiplayer and certain downloaded subscription games among benefits that can be shared. Online storage and several account-level benefits are not shareable. The details are in Sony’s PlayStation Plus benefit-sharing guide and PlayStation Plus support information.

Can you play on both PS5s at the same time?
Sony’s guidance establishes the one-console limit for sharing and offline play, but does not say whether the same account can actively play on both PS5s simultaneously. Do not assume concurrent play will work; the cited account-setting pages do not confirm it.

PS4 primary activation is managed separately. Sony allows one PS4 to be activated as primary alongside one PS5 with Console Sharing and Offline Play enabled. See its primary PS4 activation guide.
