No. In RuneScape, you cannot wear the max cape inside Daemonheim while doing Dungeoneering. The Dungeoneering cape is allowed; the max cape, support cape and completionist cape are not.
Which capes can you wear inside Daemonheim?
Dungeoneering takes place in Daemonheim, where RuneScape players explore randomly generated dungeons. Jagex’s Skills guide describes the skill and notes that higher levels unlock deeper floors.
| Cape | Wearable inside Daemonheim? |
|---|---|
| Dungeoneering cape | Yes |
| Max cape | No |
| Support cape | No |
| Completionist cape | No |
The Dungeoneering cape reference explicitly distinguishes its allowance from those other capes. The Capes of Accomplishment reference also records that misleading information suggesting max capes could be taken into Daemonheim was removed in a 6 July 2020 patch.
Does this apply to Old School RuneScape?
This answer is about RuneScape and its Daemonheim Dungeoneering mechanic. The sources cited here do not establish the same rule for Old School RuneScape, so do not assume the restriction applies there.
