If you can’t access Creation Club in Fallout 4, first look for the renamed Creations menu. Bethesda combined the old Mods and Creation Club menus on November 10, 2025. If Creations itself is missing, sign-in fails, or owned content is unavailable, use the matching steps below—the fixes differ by symptom.
Find the Creation Club menu under Creations
On Fallout 4’s main menu, select Creations, not the old Creation Club or Mods option. Bethesda says the unified menu launched with Fallout 4: Anniversary Edition on November 10, 2025, and is available to owners of Anniversary Edition and previous versions of Fallout 4. It brings together previously released mods and Creation Club items, as well as new Creations. Availability can vary by region, title, and platform, according to Bethesda’s announcement.

- On Xbox, open Settings > Account > Privacy & online safety > Xbox privacy > View details & customize > Game content and set You can see and upload community creations to Everyone.
- Bethesda also suggests launching Fallout 4 while disconnected from the internet, selecting Creations from the main menu, then reconnecting while the menu loads. On PC, use Alt+Tab to reconnect outside the game window. This is a suggested workaround, not a guaranteed fix.
After a game update or mod change, an outdated mod or Creation may interfere with the menu. Bethesda’s troubleshooting guidance recommends checking for updates and disabling or removing external mods as later steps. Removing content or reinstalling can affect installed files, so leave those measures until simpler checks fail; follow the platform-specific directions in Bethesda’s missing-Creations-menu guide.

Creations appears, but sign-in or connection fails
Verify that the Bethesda.net username and password work by signing in on the Bethesda.net account website. When typing capital letters in the game, Bethesda recommends using Shift rather than Caps Lock. Then check that your connection is stable: try wired internet or another network instead of Wi-Fi, turn off VPN or proxy services, and restart the modem or router. If Fallout 4 shows error 050
Use the dedicated checks for error 050 rather than assuming it means the service is down. Bethesda recommends checking Bethesda server status and the platform’s service status, accepting any recently updated EULA on Bethesda.net, and confirming that the account is linked and verified. It also suggests power-cycling the device and home network, testing the connection, opening another Bethesda game associated with the account before returning to Fallout 4, and viewing the Fallout 4 Creations Library on the website.

If the error occurs while downloading Creations required by a save or restoring a load order, try downloading items one at a time. If the menu loads, it also provides Download all owned Creation Club Creations. These are troubleshooting steps; Bethesda’s error 050 guidance does not establish that an outage is occurring now.
A save says Creation Club content is missing
This can mean content is not currently installed, rather than a sign-in problem. Return to the main menu, check the purchased Creations, and download the missing items again. Bethesda’s steps are in its missing-Creations guide.

A bundle or Anniversary Edition content appears unowned
Allow the in-game Creations menu to finish loading, then exit Fallout 4 completely and relaunch it. Check the in-game Installed list as well as the load-order list: bundle and Anniversary Edition items may appear under Installed rather than in the load order.
Ownership depends on both the Bethesda.net account and the platform. The Bethesda.net website may show a Creation as owned if it was purchased on any platform, but content bought on one platform cannot be used on another. Creations are tied to the Bethesda.net account that owns them and are not available through Family Share. Check the correct account and purchase platform in the Creations Library. If the item still appears unowned, Bethesda recommends contacting Bethesda Customer Support and including a screenshot where possible. See its bundle ownership guidance.

Choose the fix that matches what you see

If none of these branches fits, the exact platform and error message matter: a missing menu, failed authentication, an uninstalled item, and a platform entitlement issue are different problems. Bethesda’s support site is the escalation point for unresolved ownership issues.
