Roblox does not publish a blanket rule saying bras are always allowed or always banned. Its rules prohibit sexually suggestive avatar clothing, so the item’s presentation and the full avatar configuration matter more than the garment name alone. A particular outfit may still be moderated; there is no official bra-specific approval list.
What Roblox’s rules say
Roblox’s Restricted Content Policy identifies sexually suggestive content as prohibited, including “avatar bodies, assets and clothes, avatar emotes, or settings/environments in experiences.” Bras are not named as a category in the reviewed policy, so the rule does not establish that every bra-style item is permitted or prohibited.

In practice, the relevant question is whether the clothing and avatar as a whole are presented sexually or as ordinary clothing. This is an explanation of Roblox’s broad standard, not a pre-approval test: the policy does not give examples of bra styles that are guaranteed to pass moderation.

Does an age-restricted experience change the rule?
No. Roblox says its standards apply to submitted assets, including when those assets appear in Restricted experiences. Those experiences are age-gated for age-checked adults, but that does not exempt avatar clothing from the Community Standards.

Could Roblox reset or moderate my avatar?
Yes. If Roblox determines that an avatar configuration violates its Community Standards, it may reset the avatar to a default look and send an in-app notification explaining the reset. Roblox’s Restricted Content Policy also says that recreating a violating avatar may lead to further action. More generally, moderation can include warnings, removal of content, or account-level restrictions, as described in Roblox’s Report Abuse guidance.
What to do if your avatar is reset
- Read the in-app notification to understand why Roblox reset the configuration.
- Change the avatar so its clothing and overall presentation comply with the Community Standards.
- If you believe the reset was a mistake, use “Report mistake” in the notification if that option is shown.
What if I want to create or sell a bra-style item?
Avatar clothing can be created and sold on Roblox, but creator-submitted items are subject to Marketplace policy and the Community Standards. The same uncertainty applies: Roblox’s reviewed guidance does not provide a bra-specific ruling or guarantee that an individual design will be accepted. See the Marketplace policy for creator requirements.
