Release date and platforms
Capcom released Capcom Fighting Collection 2 on May 16, 2025, for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam, according to its official game page and May 16 launch announcement. Nintendo’s store listing also gives May 16, 2025 as the Switch release date: Nintendo eShop.
Nintendo lists the Switch version as supported on Nintendo Switch 2, with behavior consistent with the Switch version. That is compatibility, not a separately listed Switch 2 edition.

In Power Stone, players use objects in the arena and collect three Power Stones to transform. Power Stone 2 builds on that format with four-player fights in changing environments. These are Capcom’s descriptions of the games, not independent evaluations. Details appear in Capcom’s game spotlights.
Online play and collection features
Capcom says all eight games support online play with rollback netcode, ranked and casual matches, and lobbies. Online matchmaking is limited to players on the same platform; the collection does not support cross-platform online matches. Capcom confirms that restriction in its support FAQ, updated July 20, 2026.

That promotion was limited by stock, so its inclusion should not be assumed for a copy being sold now. Check the retailer’s current listing for the platform, region, edition, stock, and any stated bonus.
