What is Monster Hunter Stories 3?
Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection is an RPG in Capcom’s Monster Hunter Stories series. Capcom announced it on August 1, 2025, calling it the third title and official sequel in the series. The original announcement gave a 2026 release window; Capcom Town Store’s notice dated April 17, 2026, updates that status to available.
In the Stories games, players take the role of Monster Riders: they form bonds with monsters, raise them, and coexist with them. That premise distinguishes the spin-off from the main Monster Hunter games without implying unverified details about how the new title’s combat or progression works.
How is it different from the main Monster Hunter series?

What platforms is it on?
Capcom’s August 2025 announcement listed Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Its later April 17, 2026 Capcom Town Store notice says the game is now available and specifically confirms that the Steam version is available through the store. The notice does not independently verify current availability on every announced platform, in every region, or in every edition, so check the relevant platform storefront for your location.

Capcom reported more than 122 million cumulative sales for the Monster Hunter series as of June 30, 2025. That figure covers the series as a whole; it is not sales of Monster Hunter Stories 3.
