Are Captain Nitro and Captain Turbo optional?
The boss overview classifies both O.R.C. officers as optional and reports that they do not respawn. It also cautions that Nitro’s practical optionality is uncertain: walkthrough routes may take players past him even though the fight is technically skippable. How do I beat Captain Nitro and Captain Turbo?
Both captains are O.R.C. Northern Scorpions, a species described as aggressive toward players. The creature entry reports that the species takes 200% more damage from the Acorn Turret. This is a general species data point, not a Captain-specific test or a complete combat strategy. Grounded Wiki creature entry
The available encounter information does not establish either captain’s move set, attack telegraphs, phases, additional weaknesses, drops, or an optimal armor and weapon loadout. Avoid treating unverified build advice as confirmed; use the creature’s shared identity and reported turret modifier as limited context rather than a guaranteed solution.
