Rockstar’s May 21, 2019 update for Red Dead Redemption 2 on PS4 and Xbox One added poker to Red Dead Online. The notes say poker can be joined from saloons across the open world, and that players can compete against other players in public or private matches. The update specifies tables seating up to six players in five locations: Blackwater, Saint Denis, Tumbleweed, Valentine, and Flatneck Station. That design places the game at the center of a frontier setting rather than in one dedicated casino venue. The public/private distinction is also explicit in Rockstar’s description; the source does not detail additional rules or access conditions for those match types.
How the Diamond Casino & Resort fits GTA Online
Rockstar’s July 23, 2019 update for Grand Theft Auto V on PS4, Xbox One, and PC added the Diamond Casino & Resort to GTA Online. The update calls it “a shared location for players to enjoy together” and describes it as a destination with activities and guest services. Rockstar Games’ Title Update 1.47 notes establish the casino’s shared-location framing.

A later update documents a specific form of personalization. On December 15, 2020, Rockstar said players who own a Casino Penthouse and Private Dealer can buy table styles with Chips: five styles for Blackjack and four for Three Card Poker. This is conditional customization, not evidence that every player can alter casino tables. Rockstar Games’ December 15, 2020 update notes list the styles and ownership requirements.
