Which game version and platform do you need?
PC/Steam Enhanced (UE5)
Enhanced is the current Unreal Engine 5 edition for PC through Steam. GPORTAL states that its Enhanced servers are PC/Steam-only and that its catalogue covers 10 to 70 slots. GTX Gaming says its service supports Conan Exiles Enhanced on PC/Steam and also hosts Legacy servers. If your community has stayed on Legacy for mod or compatibility reasons, select that option explicitly rather than assuming an Enhanced listing includes it.

Consoles
The documented GPORTAL Enhanced offer is PC/Steam-only. Do not purchase a PC plan for Xbox or PlayStation players without written confirmation that the required console edition is supported. Platform support, cross-play and save compatibility must be checked at checkout.
How many slots should you pay for?
Start with your expected peak concurrency, then add only the headroom that has a clear use. A group of six people does not need a 60-slot plan simply because it is available.

GTX’s entry-plan description says it can include up to 10 GB of RAM and up to 100 GB of NVMe storage. “Up to” is important: confirm the exact allocation for the plan and version you select. Ask whether storage covers saves, logs, mods and backups, or whether backups consume a separate quota. GPORTAL’s cited offer details do not state an equivalent RAM or storage figure, so request that information if your mod list is large.
Mods and configuration
GPORTAL describes mod integration, map changes and configurable parameters. GTX lists Steam Workshop tools. Choose the data centre nearest to the people who play most often. GPORTAL’s displayed offers show Central Europe, while GTX lists UK and worldwide data-centre options. A UK group may prefer a UK location even if another currency displays a lower number; a North American group should check whether a nearby location is available before paying.
Before committing to a long term, identify the exact region in the order screen and ask support whether it can be changed later without rebuilding the server. If your group spans continents, place the server near the largest regular population and accept that distant players may see higher latency.
Billing, trials and cancellation details to check
Read the commercial terms beside the technical specification. GTX’s UK guide says monthly billing has no contract or setup fee and lists a 24-hour money-back guarantee.
