An unaffiliated fan site, Chronotector, has reported a Q1 2027 target, but that date is not confirmed by the primary sources cited here. Treat it as an unverified report, not a release announcement.
What kind of game is Chrono Odyssey?
Steam describes Chrono Odyssey as an action MMORPG built with Unreal Engine 5. Its announced features include a seamless open world, dynamic combat involving time manipulation, extensive character customization and multiplayer content. The setting introduced by the developer is Setera, an open-world wilderness.

In a May 3, 2023 PlayStation Blog overview, Chrono Studio producer Samuel Seo described combat built around attacking, defending, dodging and switching weapons in real time. He also identified the Chronotector as a central device for manipulating time and space. These are announcement-era details; the post does not establish that every feature or implementation remains unchanged.
Seo characterized the intended design this way: “We have also elevated combat to new heights by incorporating the Chrono (time) element, which serves as the core of the game’s universe, as well as the real-time MMO content enjoyed by hundreds of players to provide a dynamic social experience unlike any other.” This is the producer’s description of the planned experience, not an independent assessment.

What classes are in Chrono Odyssey?
The 2023 producer overview named six classes:
- Swordsman
- Ranger
- Sorcerer
- Paladin
- Berserker
- Assassin
The same overview described gender and appearance customization. Because this class list and customization information come from a dated announcement, they should be read as announced plans, not a guarantee of the final roster or options.
What platforms is Chrono Odyssey coming to?
Steam is the currently established storefront in the sources cited here. A complete, current launch-platform list has not been confirmed by the primary sources covered here. Chronotector lists PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, but identifies itself as an independent fan project unaffiliated with the developers or Kakao Games. Do not treat that list as an official platform announcement.

Does Chrono Odyssey support controllers?
Steam’s listing specifies full controller support and names Xbox and PlayStation controllers. A controller is optional; the listing does not say one is required. The developer’s July 2025 update also identified controller and keyboard-and-mouse usability as areas for improvement. Check the live store listing and official updates nearer release for current support details.

The first closed beta concluded on June 23, 2025, according to the Steam Community news archive. In July 2025, the developer said it was reviewing feedback and working on combat, controls, performance and optimization, UI/UX, technical stability, social features and narrative. Those notes describe work in progress at that time; they do not confirm that all listed changes have since shipped.

Are the PC requirements and monetization confirmed?
