Why is Valkyrie called the Wolf’s Lair map?
Activision says Valkyrie is set in the Masurian Woods, East Prussia, and was inspired by the Wolf’s Lair. The publisher describes the Wolf’s Lair as Hitler’s Eastern-front headquarters during Operation Barbarossa. That historical description is Activision’s framing; the sources cited here do not independently establish the broader history.
