Verso’s Drafts is part of Clair Obscur: Expedition 33’s free Thank You Update, announced December 11, 2025. Sandfall Interactive’s official site said on December 12 that the update was rolling out across all platforms and regions. It adds a new area along with weapons, Luminas, Photo Mode, quality-of-life features, language support and tougher late-game battles.
What is Verso’s Drafts?
Verso’s Drafts is a new playable environment connected to young Verso. Sandfall Interactive describes it as a whimsical, storybook-like place, with bright flower fields, an overflowing toy box and a Gestral fairground. The developer’s announcement also promises new environments, battles, surprises, cutscenes and music by composer Lorien Testard.

Sandfall calls the release a free game update. Although players may describe the new area as DLC, it is included in the update rather than sold as a separate add-on.

- More text languages: Czech, Ukrainian, Mexican Spanish, Turkish, Vietnamese, Thai and Indonesian, bringing the stated total to 19 supported languages.
- Endless Tower challenges: new boss battles for late-game players, plus Pictos, costumes and other rewards.
These are feature counts given by Sandfall in the 2025 announcement, not independently measured statistics. The developer describes Verso’s Drafts as a cheerful reunion with the party, including Esquie; its Endless Tower additions are aimed at players looking for tougher endgame fights.
How to get the update
The update was announced as available on December 11, 2025. Sandfall’s official site said the rollout was underway across all platforms and regions the following day, and the PlayStation Blog confirms PS5 availability.
