When did Mega Knight Evolution arrive in Clash Royale?
Supercell announced the Mega Knight Evolution Event on September 11, 2024, and scheduled it to run from September 14 through September 24, 2024. The announcement described a temporary event, not a permanent promotion or a current way to claim the Evolution. Supercell’s event announcement set out the unlock rules.

How did the 2024 Mega Knight Evolution unlock work?
Mega Knight Evolution required six Evolution Shards. During the event, players could make one milestone attempt per day across its 10 days; six successful completions earned all six shards. Players did not need to win every day, and the event ended for a player once they had collected all six shards.
Main milestone event
The milestones required King Level 7 or higher. Supercell’s published rewards included a Mega Knight Legendary Card at 40 Crowns and one Mega Knight Evolution Shard at 55 Crowns. Those are the 2024 event’s stated reward thresholds, not current in-game offers.

Final Crown Challenge
After collecting all six shards, players could access a separate Final Crown Challenge, which required Arena 11 or higher. Its listed rewards were two Mega Knight cards at 90 Crowns and an exclusive emote at 140 Crowns. This challenge was an additional event activity, not a seventh shard requirement.
Players below Arena 11
Supercell said a Knight Evolution event ran at the same time for players below Arena 11. It offered a Knight Evolution Shard; that was a separate reward path and did not unlock Mega Knight Evolution.

What did Supercell change in later balance updates?
Supercell’s balance notes changed Mega Knight Evolution’s heavy-troop knockback twice in 2026. The dated values show the sequence; they should not be read as confirmation of the live values after the August update.
