Take its Microfilm to the projector at the map entrance. These directions come from walkthroughs published around the time the quest launched; exact details may differ in later game builds.
Where is the Zoo quest radio?
Go to Zoo Attractions and look for the quest radio on the wall beside the central pillar. This is the radio used for the main Easter egg, not one of the map’s other radio pickups. The walkthroughs place this objective in the quest sequence after the earlier Outbreak objectives and before the monkey-and-projector stage. KeenGamer’s Zoo guide

Activating the quest radio triggers a zombie horde. Once it has been dealt with, the radio gives a numbered frequency. Turn subtitles on if you need help reading or hearing the number.
How to tune the three Zoo signal amplifiers
- After activating the quest radio and surviving the horde, note its numbered static frequency.
- Find the three signal amplifiers nearby. Interact with each and cycle its setting until it matches the radio’s number.
- Return to the quest radio after all three amplifiers match, then interact with it to complete the transmission and collect the Beacon Listening Device.
- At the Beacon, choose Respond to hear Maxis and continue the quest.
The cited walkthroughs explain that the amplifiers are nearby but do not give verifiable Zoo-specific landmarks for each one, so use the signal equipment around the quest-radio area rather than relying on a more precise coordinate callout. The radio-and-amplifier sequence is also described by GamesRadar+.

Zoo radio locations: quest radio versus other radios
Zoo has radio locations listed separately from the main quest radio. Player Assist identifies these four map radio landmarks; they should not be confused with the quest radio at Zoo Attractions:
- On a platform centered around a bush near the map entrance.
- Behind the counter in the doorway marked with a red star.
- To the left of the Aquarium entrance.
- Behind the Aquarium, at the top of the stairs on a concrete-looking surface.
These are locations from Player Assist’s Zoo radio guide; the main quest walkthrough separately places the Easter egg radio on the wall by the central pillar at Zoo Attractions.
All four possible monkey statue locations on Zoo
After responding at the Beacon and warping to the monkey stage, search the four reported statue spawn locations. You only need the statue marked with an M: shoot or melee that target to break it and collect the Microfilm. The guides describe these as possible locations, not four statues that all need to be destroyed.

Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone.Where is the Zoo projector?
Carry the Microfilm to the projector at the map entrance, in the western part of the building. Insert or play the slides, then advance through the dialogue and slide sequence; the walkthrough describes advancing it about three times until the route points onward to Ruka. KeenGamer and GamesRadar+
What comes after the Zoo projector?
The projector stage advances the main quest toward Ruka, where the route continues to the missile silos and the finale. The Zoo sequence therefore runs from the quest radio and amplifiers, to responding at the Beacon, to the M-marked monkey and Microfilm, and then to the projector. The cited guides date from around the quest’s release, so treat their directions as game-version guidance rather than confirmation that every detail is unchanged in current builds.
