Non puoi modificare liberamente la data di nascita dalle normali impostazioni: per correggere un’età errata su Fortnite, chiedi assistenza a Epic Games tramite il Support Assistant. La procedura cambia se stai correggendo il tuo account o quello di un minore e può richiedere la verifica dell’età o il consenso di un genitore o tutore.
Come correggere la data di nascita del tuo account
- Apri l’Epic Games Support Assistant e chiedi aiuto per correggere la data di nascita associata all’account usato per Fortnite.
- Indica la data corretta e segui il flusso di verifica che Epic ti propone. Se hai meno di 18 anni, deve intervenire il genitore o tutore verificato; se hai almeno 18 anni, Epic richiede la verifica dell’età.
La data è associata all’account Epic, non a un’impostazione separata di Fortnite. Epic non presenta la modifica come un’opzione ordinaria nelle impostazioni del profilo: la richiesta va gestita tramite il supporto.

Come correggere la data di nascita di un minore
Se sei il genitore o tutore, usa il modulo Parent/Guardian di Epic. Verifica l’indirizzo email del tutore, seleziona l’account del minore e descrivi sia la data attualmente associata all’account sia quella corretta.

Se l’account del minore non compare, potrebbe essere collegato a un altro indirizzo email del genitore o tutore. Controlla quale email è stata usata per la procedura prima di inviare una nuova richiesta.

Se Epic chiede il consenso dei genitori
Una richiesta di consenso non significa necessariamente che la data di nascita sia sbagliata. Se l’obiettivo è autorizzare l’uso di determinate funzioni, il genitore o tutore deve seguire il processo ricevuto via email e può configurare i controlli parentali. A seconda della regione, la verifica dell’adulto può prevedere una scansione del volto, una carta di credito o debito oppure un documento.
La soglia di età per il consenso digitale dipende dal paese: non esiste una regola universale secondo cui tutti gli account si sbloccano a 13 anni. Epic può chiedere nuovamente la data di nascita per applicare impostazioni adatte all’età e alla regione.

Cabined Account: cosa resta limitato
Un Cabined Account non è necessariamente un account bloccato. Il giocatore può continuare a usare Fortnite e conservare i contenuti già acquistati o guadagnati, mentre alcune funzioni restano disabilitate. Epic include tra queste la chat vocale o testuale e gli acquisti con denaro reale.
Per richiedere l’accesso alle funzioni soggette a consenso, il genitore o tutore deve completare la procedura ufficiale e impostare i controlli parentali. Anche dopo il consenso, alcune funzioni possono dipendere dalle autorizzazioni scelte; l’accesso può inoltre cambiare quando il minore raggiunge l’età prevista nella propria regione.

Non inserire una data falsa per aggirare una restrizione: l’età dichiarata incide sulle impostazioni disponibili e può essere sottoposta a nuova verifica.
