What was Concord’s highest Steam player count?
SteamDB lists an all-time peak of 697 concurrent players on August 23, 2024. Concurrent players are people playing at the same time; the peak does not tell us how many unique people owned or played Concord, or how many copies were sold. The sources available do not establish a reliable sales total.
Why is Concord no longer online?
On September 3, 2024, Firewalk Studios game director Ryan Ellis announced on the game’s official Steam community page: “Therefore, at this time, we have decided to take the game offline beginning September 6, 2024, and explore options, including those that will better reach our players.” The announcement set the shutdown date, and PlayStation Support says the game was taken offline beginning September 6, 2024.

Does the Steam count include PlayStation 5 players?
No. SteamDB’s count is for Steam, not a combined Steam and PlayStation 5 total. The cited sources do not give a PlayStation concurrent-player count or a total player population across platforms, so the Steam figure cannot be used to estimate either.
Can you still buy or play Concord?
PlayStation says sales ceased when the game was taken offline and that full refunds were offered to purchasers on PS5 or PC. Steam and Epic purchasers were directed to their respective stores’ refund processes. People who bought a physical copy from another retailer were directed to that retailer’s refund process. PlayStation Support’s Concord notice does not establish that a physical copy remains playable; it is not a useful purchase for someone seeking an online game to play.
