Concord is not confirmed playable again today. What is Concord Delta?
Concord Delta is an unofficial, fan-led effort to bring the shuttered shooter back using custom servers. It was not a Sony relaunch or an official return of the game. November 2025 coverage named Red, open_wizard and gwog as developers involved in the project.

Why did the official Concord shut down?
On September 3, 2024, Firewalk game director Ryan Ellis announced that Concord would go offline beginning September 6, sales would stop, and purchasers would receive refunds. The announcement said the studio would explore options for reaching players, but it did not announce a later official relaunch. PlayStation.Blog’s September 3, 2024 announcement is the primary source for the shutdown plan.

Were the fan-made matches actually playable?
Yes, according to contemporaneous November 2025 coverage: testers were reported to have reached matches on custom servers. That did not mean the revival was finished, stable, or open to everyone. PC Gamer quoted developer Red describing it as a work in progress: “The project is still WIP” and “It’s playable, but buggy.” PC Gamer’s November 2025 report reflects the project’s reported condition at that time.
Why were invitations paused?
In November 2025, outlets reported that gameplay videos had received copyright claims and that Concord Delta’s developers paused invitations. GameSpot relayed a project Discord statement: “Due to worrying legal action we’ve decided to pause invites for the time being.” This records the team’s stated concern; it is not proof that a lawsuit was filed against the developers. Some reporting at the time said the claims targeted gameplay videos rather than the custom servers themselves. Those reports describe the situation then, not what may have happened since. Can you still play Concord on PC?
Current access is not verified. The available reporting establishes that matches were playable and invitations were paused in November 2025; it does not establish whether invitations later resumed, whether servers remain available, or whether the legal circumstances changed. So it would be misleading to promise that Concord Delta is playable now—or to say definitively that it is not.
Because this is an unofficial project and its present status is unconfirmed, there is no verified installation route or access link to recommend. Buying the original game or hardware does not establish access to the fan project.
