PlayStation announced on September 3, 2024 that Concord would go offline beginning September 6 and that sales would stop immediately. The announcement offered full refunds to PS5 and PC purchasers. The refund route depends on where you bought the game: PlayStation Store and PlayStation Direct refunds are automatic, while Steam, Epic Games Store and other physical retailers handle refunds through their own channels.
When did Concord go offline?
Firewalk Studios game director Ryan Ellis announced on September 3, 2024 that Concord would be taken offline beginning September 6, 2024, with sales ceasing immediately. Ellis wrote that the studio had decided to take the game offline and “explore options, including those that will better reach our players.” PlayStation’s announcement described the plan as it stood at that time; it does not establish a later return or the game’s subsequent status.

How do Concord refunds work?
PlayStation’s support page lists the refund instructions by purchase channel. Its current guidance is specific to PlayStation Support in the United Kingdom; for a physical copy bought elsewhere, the retailer’s own process applies.
| Where you bought Concord | Refund guidance | What to check |
|---|---|---|
| PlayStation Store or PlayStation Direct | PlayStation says the refund is automatic and goes to the original payment method. It may take 30–60 days to appear on a bank statement. If the original payment source is unavailable, the refund goes to the PSN wallet. | Check the original payment method and PSN wallet; allow the stated processing time. |
| Steam | Steam processes the refund and sends a confirmation once it is processed. The Steam-hosted announcement says refunded players would no longer have access to the game. | Check your Steam account and refund confirmation. |
| Epic Games Store | Epic processes the refund and contacts purchasers to confirm it. | Check your Epic account and messages from Epic. |
| Physical copy from another retailer | PlayStation directs purchasers to the retailer’s refund process; it does not state one universal policy for retailers. | Contact the retailer where you bought the copy. |
These routes are listed on PlayStation’s Concord Support page. Steam’s access note appears in the Steam-hosted announcement.

- Steam: Check your Steam account for the refund and confirmation.
- Epic Games Store: Check for a message from Epic confirming processing.
- Physical retail copy: Ask the retailer where you purchased it about its refund process.
The official guidance identifies those channels but does not publish a single deadline for every storefront or retailer.
