CORSAIR’s Novablade Pro is a wireless, all-button fighting-game controller with adjustable magnetic switches, support for PS5, PS4 and PC, and three connection options. Those features give it a different pitch from the wired-only Razer Kitsune, but the available reviews do not establish that it beats the Kitsune—or Hit Box—at performance. The practical choice comes down to platform support, portability, price and the button feel you prefer.
What is the CORSAIR Novablade Pro?
Announced on October 30, 2025, the Novablade Pro is CORSAIR’s first controller designed specifically for fighting games. It is a leverless controller: directional and action inputs are handled by buttons rather than a joystick. CORSAIR positions it as a customizable option for players who want to tune key response and switch among wired and wireless connections.
What features does it offer?
Adjustable magnetic keys
CORSAIR lists 15 adjustable magnetic keys using MGX Hyperdrive switches. The actuation point can be set from 0.1 mm to 4 mm, and the controller includes Rapid Trigger and FlashTap SOCD features. These are manufacturer-described specifications and features, not independently established evidence that the controller produces faster or better competitive results. CORSAIR rates the switches for up to 150 million keypresses; that is a product rating, not a measured lifespan result.
Profiles and connections
The Novablade Pro supports wired, 2.4GHz wireless and Bluetooth connections. CORSAIR also lists eight programmable G-keys and up to five onboard profiles, giving players options for saving configurations. The manufacturer lists compatibility with PS5, PS4 and PC.

Build and warranty
CORSAIR lists a two-year warranty. In TechRadar’s one-week hands-on review, the reviewer praised the build quality and customization, while noting that the black faceplate showed fingerprints and that they would have preferred more tactile, clicky switches. Those comments describe one reviewer’s experience, not a universal preference.
How does the Novablade Pro compare with the Razer Kitsune?
The clearest differences in the available specifications are connection choice, listed platform support, weight and price. The figures below are snapshots from CORSAIR’s announcement and TechRadar’s reviews, not guaranteed current retailer prices.

Choose the Novablade Pro if connection flexibility matters
Its wired, 2.4GHz and Bluetooth options offer more ways to connect than the Kitsune’s wired-only setup in TechRadar’s specifications. Its listed PS4 support may also matter if you play on that console. Check the current compatibility details for your exact setup before buying.
Choose the Kitsune if low weight is a priority
At the weights reported by TechRadar, the Kitsune is substantially lighter: 0.82 kg compared with 1.8 kg for the Novablade Pro. That makes the Kitsune the more straightforward pick to consider if you carry your controller to events or want a lighter setup. Its listed price was also higher in TechRadar’s regional snapshots, though prices can change and the review dates differ.

Let button feel decide when the specs do not
The Novablade Pro emphasizes adjustable actuation and magnetic-switch features. But switch feel is personal: TechRadar’s reviewer liked the controller’s customization and build while preferring more tactile switches. If possible, try the controller or buy from a retailer with a suitable return policy rather than assuming adjustable actuation will mean a feel you enjoy.
Does it beat Hit Box or Razer?
There is not enough evidence here to call the Novablade Pro a universal winner over either brand. TechRadar supplies hands-on impressions of the Novablade and comparison specifications for the Kitsune, but those do not establish a controlled head-to-head performance result. The collected sources also do not provide a full Hit Box comparison. Treat “smacks down” as promotional framing, not a demonstrated finding.
