It is a 36 g wireless gaming mouse with a solid shell and specs aimed at competitive FPS play. Check the live listing before buying: sale prices can change, and it is not confirmed which color variants qualify for the $70 price.
What makes the Sabre V2 Pro ultralight?
At 36 g, the Sabre V2 Pro is exceptionally light, but its shell is full-bodied rather than perforated with weight-saving holes. That combination suits players who want a light mouse without an exposed, cutout design. PC Gamer gave it a 92% review score in 2025 and continues to name it its best lightweight gaming mouse.
What do you get for $70?
PC Gamer reported the mouse at $70 on Amazon on October 5, 2026, a $30 reduction from Corsair’s $99.99 MSRP (about 30% off). A June 2026 PC Gamer deal post listed the black version at $79.99, also down from $99.99; the October price is lower, but the current color eligibility is unverified. Check the live Amazon listing for the Corsair Sabre V2 Pro before ordering.
What are its gaming specs?
- Sensor: Corsair Marksman S optical sensor, rated up to 33,000 DPI and 50 G maximum acceleration, per PC Gamer’s 2025 review.
- Polling: Up to 8,000 Hz, per Corsair specifications cited by PC Gamer in 2025.
- Battery: Tom’s Hardware reported about 70 hours at 1,000 Hz or about 16 hours at 8,000 Hz in 2025. These figures describe different polling settings; the high-polling option substantially reduces battery life.
- Controls: Five buttons and one onboard profile, with no extra-frills feature set.
What are the trade-offs?
The design prioritizes low weight and straightforward competitive play over extensive controls and customization. The single onboard profile and five-button layout may feel limiting if you want multiple stored setups or additional buttons. Tom’s Hardware’s 2025 review likewise characterized the mouse as very light but potentially short on features.

It strikes an optimal balance of high-precision aim with the strength needed to withstand the daily grind
- Maximize every millisecond: 8,000Hz hyper-polling* for latency-defying input delivery up to eight times faster than standard polling. Over wired or SLIPSTREAM WIRELESS, your commands register instantly when every millisecond counts.*Reaching 8,000Hz hyper-polling is dependent on CPU specifications
- Phenomenal precision: Equipped with CORSAIR’s MARKSMAN S sensor for true 33,000 DPI tracking, 750 IPS speed, and 50G acceleration. Stay locked on target in fast-paced, high-pressure scenarios
- Up to 120-Hour Wireless Battery*: Get up to 120 hours of gaming on a single charge, enough to power through extended scrims or tournaments *Up to 120-hour battery life using 2.4 GHz with 1kHz polling rate
- Versatile tri-mode connectivity: Connect the way you want! Choose between robust 2.4GHz wireless freedom, Bluetooth, or use the USB-C cable to plug in directly
The skates use UPE (ultra-high-molecular-weight polyethylene), which is more durable but does not glide as easily as PTFE, according to the review coverage. If effortless glide is more important to you than skate durability, that is a meaningful compromise.
Who should consider it?
It is a strong fit for FPS players who prioritize a very low weight, a solid-shell design, and high polling options over a feature-rich mouse. Buyers who prefer multiple onboard profiles, extra controls, or a more effortless skate glide should weigh those omissions against the sale price. At $70, it is below the stated MSRP, but whether it is a good value depends on which of those trade-offs matter to you.
