PC Gamer reported the Corsair Scimitar Elite Wireless SE at Amazon for $69.99, down from a listed $139.99, on October 6, 2026. That is the basis for the “half price” Prime Day claim—not a verified current offer. Check Amazon’s live listing for today’s price and stock before buying.
What was the Prime Day deal?
In an October 6, 2026 article, PC Gamer’s Andy Edser named the Corsair Scimitar Elite Wireless SE its best MMO gaming mouse pick and reported an Amazon price of $69.99 against $139.99. The article framed it as a Prime Day sale. Because the listing was not independently verified here, the reported price should be treated as a dated snapshot, not a promise that the discount remains available.

Why an MMO mouse can help in World of Warcraft
The Scimitar Elite Wireless SE has 16 buttons, including an adjustable 12-button side plate. That gives players a substantial set of thumb-accessible controls for abilities, items, or other commands, which can be useful when a game involves frequent keybinds. The adjustable plate lets you shift the side buttons to better match your thumb reach; it does not make the mouse a fit for every hand or play style.
PC Gamer’s cited review describes comfort and the usefulness of the button layout as strengths. The reviewer, identified only as Hope in the report, wrote: “The Corsair Scimitar Elite Wireless SE is a gaming mouse that does things none of the others I own can. Better yet it does it comfortably, while still maintaining its position as a high level gaming mouse with great polling and responsiveness,”

Who should consider it—and who might not
A good match for players with lots of keybinds

Think twice if you want a light or simple mouse
At 114 g, it is relatively heavy. That may be a drawback if you prefer a lighter mouse or make weight a priority. A dense side-button layout also adds little value if you use only a few extra controls, and PC Gamer notes that this style may not suit everyone, especially left-handed players.
