Could console prices rise?
Higher costs are a plausible risk if finished consoles are covered, but there is no supported percentage increase to forecast. A tariff rate, if one were set, would not automatically translate into the same percentage increase in a console’s U.S. retail price. The result would depend on which products and imports were covered, sourcing, exemptions, inventory, and how manufacturers and retailers chose to price them. Until those terms are published, claims that a particular console will cost more—or that prices will rise by a specific amount—go beyond what the reporting establishes.
