For an early supply of Gold Ore, head to Anvil Hill Cave in southwest Demeniss. Find the cave entrance at the bottom of the canyon, slightly east of the Gold Ore map icon. Break the golden boulder with Force Palm, then mine the deposits with a pickaxe or Force Palm.
How to get Gold Ore at Anvil Hill Cave
- Travel to Anvil Hill in southwest Demeniss and descend to the bottom of the canyon. The cave entrance is slightly east of the Gold Ore icon on the map, according to PowerPyx’s March 24, 2026 guide.
- Use Force Palm on the golden boulder blocking the entrance to clear the way inside.
- Mine the gold deposits with a pickaxe or Force Palm. Keep striking each deposit until it crumbles. PowerPyx reports that this takes two to four strikes per deposit; Gaming ProMax’s April 6, 2026 guide also recommends striking deposits until they break. Neither guide identifies the game version, so treat the strike count as guide-reported rather than a guaranteed mechanic.
PowerPyx says a pickaxe can be bought at the Provisioner’s Shop in Hernand. Its guide estimates 15–20 Gold Ore per Anvil Hill run; this is a guide estimate, not an independently verified yield.

What the Gold Vein Map reveals
The map is described as a way to locate additional mining sites. The reported count is inconsistent: Gaming ProMax lists nine caves, while the community database entry for the Gold Vein Map says ten mining locations. Because neither source specifies a game version, do not rely on an exact count; check the map in your game for its current locations.

What Gold Ore is used for
PowerPyx describes Gold Ore as a blacksmith refinement material, especially for accessory upgrades. Mine it when you need that material for crafting or refinement rather than treating the cave as a required detour.
