When did Crimson Desert come out?
Pearl Abyss announced a March 19, 2026 release date on September 24, 2025. The publisher later confirmed that the game launched worldwide on that date, beginning at 3:00 PM PDT. Its official notice, timestamped 22:00 UTC on March 19, said the game was available now. Pearl Abyss’s launch notice confirms the release.

What is Crimson Desert about?
Pearl Abyss describes Crimson Desert as an open-world action-adventure set on Pywel. Its story centers on Kliff and his effort to reunite his scattered Greymane companions. The October 2025 notice introduced the date with the line, “The fight for Pywel begins March 19, 2026.”

The March 12 notice described pre-loading for eligible pre-orders through PlayStation Store, Xbox Store, Microsoft Store, or Steam beginning 48 hours before launch. That was launch-period guidance, not a current download instruction.
