What is the Platinum Edition?

Most existing copies update automatically. PlayStation owners who already purchased the PS4 or PS5 game need to download the Platinum Edition version separately at no additional charge, according to Argonaut’s FAQ.

- Croc's got the moves! Help Croc, the crusading crocodile, rescue his peace-loving Gobbo friends from the grasp of the evil magician Baron Dante. Guide him through a beautifully-rendered 3D world, on a free-roaming adventure against the evil Baron and his devilish assistants - the Dantinis!
When did physical editions ship?
Physical editions followed a separate schedule from the April 2025 digital launch. In January 2026, Argonaut said the editions missed their intended shipping date because of item delays and the time required for disc or cartridge approval and manufacturing. Argonaut’s physical-edition update and Rock It Games’ update explain the delay.
Argonaut’s product page lists PS5 and Switch Platinum Edition physical copies through retailers, including an Amazon US listing for PS5. Stock and delivery timing can change, so check the retailer’s current listing before ordering. The official Croc product page provides the retailer links.
