Treat it as an editorial ranking, not an official or measured verdict: the best class for you depends on your preferred specialization, game mode, and playstyle.
Crystal of Atlan tier list: every class ranked
The table reproduces Pocket Gamer’s October 6, 2026, Version 2.0 ranking, which assesses classes from an end-game perspective. Its tier placements are the publication’s editorial judgment; they are not controlled performance results.

Source: Pocket Gamer’s Crystal of Atlan tier list, updated October 6, 2026, Version 2.0. These are 18 entries counted from that list, not published game statistics. The ranking reflects its end-game framing and should not be read as a universal order for every activity or player.
What class should you pick?
Pick based on the specialization you want to play later, not only the name of the starting class. Crystal of Atlan’s base classes branch into specializations that shape end-game play, so think about the eventual role and feel you want before committing. If you are undecided, use the tier list as a shortlist rather than a command: Pocket Gamer itself advises taking its ordering with a grain of salt and allowing for personal preference.

How to choose between classes
Start with your activity: PvE or PvP
A class’s standing can change with the mode. PCGamesN publishes separate PvE and PvP rankings, and places several classes differently between them. For example, its January 2026 guide ranks Warlock S in PvP and A in PvE, while Elementalist appears in C for both modes. Those placements belong to that older guide and should not be blended into Pocket Gamer’s newer overall end-game list.
Rank #2
PCGamesN’s guide also describes advanced-class selection as beginning at level 15 and says that choice cannot be switched afterward. Those are the guide’s January 2026 account, not confirmation of the current official rules; verify the in-game prompt before making a decision.
Match role and range to your preferred combat
Pocket Gamer characterizes Warlock as burst-oriented and capable in PvP, Elementalist as a ranged class with area and single-target damage, and Scytheguard as a tankier option. These descriptions can help distinguish their feel, but they are source characterizations rather than independent test results.

Consider mobility, survivability, and execution
Pocket Gamer describes Bounty Hunter as more mobile than Gunner, and Cloudstrider as fast and survivable but lower in damage. A lower tier does not automatically make a class unsuitable: comfort with its pace, skills, and role may matter more to your results than an editorial placement.

Published lists use different dates, rosters, and ranking frameworks. Pocket Gamer’s October list ranks end-game options and includes entries such as Inventor – Empirica, Inventor – Rhapsodia, and Karmaslayer. PCGamesN’s January 2026 guide uses separate PvE and PvP tables, while Mobi.gg’s July 28, 2026 presentation includes base classes as well as subclasses.
Rank #4
- One (1) Pack contains 12 cards One (1) Display box contains 18 packs One (1) Premium Card included per pack
The differences are substantial: PCGamesN places Elementalist in C for both PvE and PvP, while Pocket Gamer puts it in S in its October end-game snapshot. Mobi.gg’s July list places Fighter, Cloudstrider, Starbreaker, Magician, Warlock, and Blademaiden in S. This disagreement reflects different editorial approaches and snapshots; it does not establish that one list measured class strength under a shared test.
When comparing a tier list, check its publication date, version, roster, and whether it separates PvE from PvP. The available rankings do not provide a shared controlled win-rate, damage, usage, or clear-time statistic that would make their tiers objective measurements.
