What was in the April 2026 Cyberpunk 2077 update?
CD PROJEKT RED announced the PS5 Pro update on April 8, 2026. It adds support for PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution (PSSR), ray-tracing optimizations and three graphics modes: Ray Tracing, Performance and Ray Tracing Pro. The publisher describes the update as free and specific to PS5 Pro. Read the official PS5 Pro update announcement.
The announcement introduces the update as offering “expanded ray tracing, smoother performance, and PSSR upscaling”; it does not list collectible items, locations, unlock conditions or other collectible-related content.
Did Cyberpunk 2077 get new collectibles in April 2026?
The official April announcement does not document new collectibles. That is narrower than saying no collectible announcement appeared anywhere: the sources cited here do not establish whether CD PROJEKT RED made a separate collectible announcement elsewhere in April. Until an official source confirms one, claims that the PS5 Pro update added collectibles are unsupported.

Why Update 2.3 may cause confusion
Update 2.3 is a separate release, dated July 16, 2025. Its patch notes include four vehicles and Photo Mode additions, but those are July 2025 content—not additions documented for the April 2026 PS5 Pro update. See CD PROJEKT RED’s Update 2.3 patch notes.
