How to unlock Blistering Love
Blistering Love follows Chippin’ In. During the oil-field conversation with Johnny, take the friendly dialogue route and agree when he asks whether V will call Rogue. PC Gamer’s guide lists these dialogue choices:

- “The Guy who Saved My Life”

- “When you said you let down your friends…”
- “Smasher biz really got to her.”

These are the dialogue conditions described for opening the quest; a particular Johnny relationship percentage is not established as a requirement. If Blistering Love does not appear, check that Chippin’ In is complete and that you agreed to call Rogue.
How to complete Blistering Love
- After the call to Rogue, meet her at the Afterlife.
- Pick Rogue up and drive to the Silver Pixel drive-in theater in North Oak.
- The theater is closed. Get inside and follow the objective to the projection booth.
- Activate the projector to start the movie and date sequence.
- When prompted, take the pills so Johnny can take control of V. Continue through the conversation.
- Rogue eventually leaves, and the quest advances Johnny and Rogue’s side-job thread.
The available walkthroughs establish the closed theater and projector-booth objectives, but do not confirm one entry code or access method for every game version. Follow the in-game objective rather than relying on an unverified code.

What the date and choices mean
During the date, Johnny is using V’s body. The scene is an intimate moment between Johnny and Rogue, not the start of a lasting romance between V and Rogue. The roleplay choices in this sequence do not make Rogue a permanent romance partner.

No. Completing Blistering Love advances the Johnny-and-Rogue quest thread and contributes to access to the Rogue-associated ending route, but it does not by itself satisfy the separate dialogue conditions for the secret ending. Those conditions are tied to earlier choices in Chippin’ In. The date, the Rogue ending path, and secret-ending access are distinct outcomes.
