Executioner’s Aspect is listed as a Barbarian Offensive Codex of Power Aspect: Overpower triggers an Earthquake every four seconds. Wowhead’s database lists its damage and Strength scaling, but the sources available do not establish the current in-game unlock route. Check the Aspect’s tooltip in Diablo IV before relying on its values or acquisition details.
What Executioner’s Aspect does
Wowhead lists the Aspect’s effect as: “Your Overpowers will spawn an Earthquake every 4 seconds that deals [300 – 702] Physical damage over 4 seconds. Your Earthquake damage is increased by 5%[x] for every 100 Strength you have, up to 100%[x].” These are database-listed values, not independently tested damage results or a verified current Blizzard tooltip. How to get Executioner’s Aspect
The current unlock or acquisition route is not established by the available sources. The listing’s “Codex of Power” label identifies its category, but does not by itself say which dungeon, quest, drop, or other activity unlocks it. No specific route can be confirmed here, so check the current in-game Codex or Aspect details rather than relying on an assumed dungeon or drop source.

Executioner’s Aspect is not the Executioner monster affix
Diablo IV also uses “Executioner” for a monster affix. Blizzard’s January 12, 2026 announcement said the affix would be temporarily disabled with patch 2.5.2 because it caused a persistent audio bug; the announcement also mentioned a one-second spawn cooldown and removal of the tracking period. Blizzard’s January 28, 2026 patch 2.5.3 notes said the continuous sound-effect bug was fixed and that the monster affix would be re-enabled with the patch. That patch history concerns the monster affix, not the Barbarian Aspect; it does not document a change to Executioner’s Aspect. Read Blizzard’s patch notes.

Aspect values, availability, and itemization can change with patches. For the most relevant confirmation, inspect the current in-game Aspect or item tooltip. Blizzard’s Season of Reckoning and Lord of Hatred announcement describes broader system changes, including redesigned skill trees and a higher level cap, but does not confirm an Executioner’s Aspect change.
