A companion mod is required
The custom map requires the separate Hidden Packages mod, according to the map listing. It is not an independent in-game map feature you can use by itself.
Markers may depend on progression
Some locations may not spawn until you complete a story mission, side gig, or NCPD scanner hustle, or allow time to pass. A marker therefore does not guarantee that the discovery is immediately available.
It is not a found-items checklist
The author says the map is better suited to a new playthrough because it does not account for gems you have already found. Expect to encounter markers for locations you have already visited or looted.

How to pick the right approach
- Choose the 195-location map if your priority is a direct route to the locations it covers and you are comfortable with spoilers. You will also need Hidden Packages.
- Consider Hidden Gems Locations on Map if you want map markers and the option to hide collected gems. Check its live requirements carefully, and account for its documented progression and tracking caveats.
- Consider Hidden Gems as Random Events if you would rather discover locations gradually. Its markers are not displayed by default, and the author’s configured chance and distance govern when one may appear.

- Open the mod’s live Nexus Mods page and confirm that its stated game-version compatibility matches your installation.
- Review the current requirements on that page. For the custom map, confirm that Hidden Packages is available and installed; for the other options, check the listed frameworks and any off-site dependencies.
