The Cyberpunk Trading Card Game is a physical, dice-driven crew-building game from WeirdCo, made in close collaboration with CD PROJEKT RED—not a new Cyberpunk 2077 video game. Its first set, Welcome to Night City, is planned for full retail release on November 6, 2026. That date was announced as a plan in June 2026, so it is not confirmation that the release has happened.
What was revealed?
CD PROJEKT RED first announced the physical card game with a trailer on December 10, 2025. The studio announced the Kickstarter launch on March 17, 2026, describing a game that brings together the worlds of Cyberpunk 2077, Cyberpunk: Edgerunners and more. WeirdCo is developing it in close collaboration with CD PROJEKT RED.

The debut set is Welcome to Night City, featuring characters including V, Jackie Welles, Johnny Silverhand and Judy Álvarez. CD PROJEKT RED said the second set would fully introduce Cyberpunk: Edgerunners. The publisher described the game as aimed at card-game players, collectors and Cyberpunk fans. How does the Cyberpunk TCG play?
Each player leads an edgerunner crew against a rival. The central contest is over Gigs, represented by dice: build Street Cred by controlling them while defending your own and trying to take the opponent’s. A player aims to start a turn controlling at least seven Gigs; if neither side has secured the win, overtime becomes sudden death after the last player’s seventh turn.

Cards and dice
- Units attack rival Units or the opponent’s Gig area.
- Gear equips Units or Legends and gives them effects.
- Programs produce immediate effects.
- Gig dice are a d4, d6, d8, d10, d12 and d20.
The official gameplay guide says each player needs a deck of Cyberpunk TCG cards and those six dice. This gives the game a mix of crew-building, tactical combat and dice-based control rather than a contest of card attacks alone. See the official gameplay guide.
Deck construction
A legal deck has exactly three uniquely named Legend cards plus 40–50 additional cards. A card may appear no more than three times. The Legends’ colored RAM limits determine which colored cards can go in the deck.

When does it come out?
WeirdCo’s June 19, 2026 production diary said the cards were in print and laid out a staged rollout. These were the publisher’s plans at the time, not proof of completed shipping or a current guarantee:

What do the campaign and card database figures show?
The Kickstarter campaign page, updated October 2, 2026, reported 50,773 backers and $28,353,088 pledged. Those are the page’s reported campaign totals as of that update, not a current retail sales figure. View the campaign page.
