The Dapper Delights Star Path was a limited-time Disney Dreamlight Valley event that ran from August 21 to October 2, 2024. Its duties asked players to cook, fish, mine, serve restaurant guests, complete Dreamlight Duties, spend time with villagers, craft, clear obstacles and submit DreamSnaps. The event has ended, so this is a historical guide to interpreting its tasks—not a way to activate or finish the Star Path now.
What was the Dapper Delights Star Path?
Dapper Delights brought a Roaring Twenties theme to Disney Dreamlight Valley. The official announcement invited players to “Bring the roaring twenties style n’ swing to your Valley with the ‘Dapper Delights’ Star Path!” and said event Tokens could be exchanged for themed rewards, including flapper fashions, art nouveau furniture and a dapper Donald Duck look. The event reference lists its run as August 21 through October 2, 2024. It also describes a Premium Track and Moonstone costs for that event; those are historical details, not a current offer or price. See the Dapper Delights Star Path reference.
How to interpret the duties
Each duty was a short clue for a particular repeatable action. The clue could specify the activity, its target, a character, a location, a meal course or star rating, or a submission requirement. Match all the details: doing a similar action somewhere else might not count.

- Character gifts and conversations: “Give a stargazing wayfinder gifts” points to giving Moana her favorite gifts. Discussion duties involving a villager could take more than one real-time day: the event reference notes that some required two conversations on separate days because only one discussion was available per day.
- Fishing: Check both the requested fish and the named biome. For duties with a location requirement, catching the right fish elsewhere does not satisfy the clue.
- Cooking: Read the meal’s star rating and course type. The duties did not all accept the same meals; a meal matching one part of a clue could still miss its other requirement.
- Restaurant service: Serving customers meant fulfilling orders at Chez Remy or Tiana’s Palace, as specified by the task.
- Royal Tasks: These clues mapped to completing Dreamlight Duties.
- DreamSnaps: A DreamSnaps duty required submitting a photo to a challenge, not merely taking or saving a picture.
- Other activities: Duties also covered mining particular gems, crafting, and clearing Night Thorns or Splinters of Fate.

- Re-read the entire clue for a named character, fish, gem, biome, meal course or star rating.
- Confirm the activity was completed in the requested place; location-specific fishing is a notable example.
- For restaurant tasks, serve the customer rather than simply entering the restaurant or preparing food elsewhere.
- For DreamSnaps, submit the image to a challenge.
- If a discussion duty required two conversations, allow for the separate-day limit noted in the event reference.
These checks describe how the event’s clues worked while the Star Path was active; they do not restore access to the expired event.
