When did the Dead by Daylight and Five Nights at Freddy’s crossover come out?
Behaviour Interactive announced June 18, 2025, as the chapter’s release date and reported that it was available that day. The Steam and Xbox storefronts show June 17, 2025. Those are the dates each source lists; no explanation for the discrepancy is provided.

The May 28, 2025 date was for a separate public test build, scheduled for Steam only. It was not the announced full launch date. Behaviour’s announcement listed the full chapter for Steam, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Epic Games Store, Windows Store, and Nintendo Switch.

Is Springtrap in Dead by Daylight?
Yes. The crossover added Springtrap as a Killer under the in-game name The Animatronic. Behaviour described the character’s gameplay in terms of surveillance, pursuit, and jump scares.

Security doors and cameras
Behaviour’s launch account describes seven security doors on the map, each fitted with a camera. Survivors and the Killer can use the doors to teleport, while Survivors can access cameras and switch between views. These are the publisher’s descriptions of the chapter’s mechanics.
Unique perks
The chapter includes three unique perks: Help Wanted, Phantom Fear, and Haywire. Behaviour named the perks in its release materials; detailed effects are not established in the cited descriptions.

What cosmetics came with the chapter?
Behaviour announced a Five Nights at Freddy’s cosmetic collection that includes a Legendary Outfit based on the Yellow Rabbit from the 2023 film. The publisher said the outfit reproduces Matthew Lillard’s appearance and voice. The outfit had been previewed in Dead by Daylight’s May 9, 2025 anniversary recap.
