A new 26 cm Deedlit figure is scheduled to ship in May 2027, with Good Smile Company’s preorder window running October 9 through December 2, 2026 (Japan Standard Time). Separately, the Record of Lodoss War webcomic debuted in Korean on May 9, 2026; its English WEBTOON listing is titled Record of Lodoss War: Queen of Death. The figure announcement came months after the webtoon launch and is not connected to its debut.
When does the new Deedlit figure come out?
Good Smile Company lists the figure for May 2027 shipping. It is a painted-plastic, non-scale collectible measuring approximately 260 mm (26 cm) tall, depicting Deedlit taking a quiet break in the woods with a spirit of wind. Kaitendoh is the manufacturer and sculptor; Good Smile Company is the distributor. See Good Smile Company’s product listing for the current product details.

The listed preorder period is October 9 through December 2, 2026, Japan Standard Time. Good Smile Company says orders placed through its online store during that period are guaranteed to be fulfilled, subject to its payment and shipping conditions. Availability can vary by region, and the preorder may close early. Prototype images, the stand and supports may differ from the final product.
Where can you preorder it?
Good Smile Company identifies its online store and partner shops as purchase routes. Check the official product page for regional availability and current ordering details; a preorder window or shipping estimate may change. Make sure a retailer listing is for the new Kaitendoh-sculpted, approximately 26 cm figure rather than another Deedlit product.

What is the new Record of Lodoss War webtoon called?
The English WEBTOON listing uses the title Record of Lodoss War: Queen of Death. Its story follows Thane, a rookie warrior, and Seraphine, a young priestess, as they face an undead threat connected to ancient sorcery. The page credits original work to Ryo MIZUNO, adaptation to Southern Camel and art to Blanton; it labels the series Young Adult (16+) and says it updates every Friday. The listing showed episode 12, dated October 8, 2026, when checked; episode counts change as new installments are published. Read the English WEBTOON series listing for the live episode status.
When did the webtoon launch, and where is it available?
Studio White’s April 29, 2026 announcement set the Korean launch for May 9, 2026. Studio White is a collaboration among LINE Digital Frontier, REDICE STUDIO and KADOKAWA, created to adapt KADOKAWA properties as original vertical-scroll webcomics for WEBTOON. At launch, the announcement named English, Japanese, French, Traditional Chinese, Thai and Indonesian as forthcoming languages in addition to Korean.

A later 2026 WEBTOON Entertainment shareholder filing reported the series available across its platforms in nine languages: English, Korean, Japanese, Thai, Traditional Chinese, Indonesian, French, German and Spanish. The six additional languages in the launch announcement described the initial plan; the filing is a later status snapshot. The two accounts therefore reflect different points in the rollout, not conflicting launch dates.

The English series listing’s synopsis does not establish Deedlit’s role in the story. The figure and webtoon are separate developments in the same franchise; the figure announcement is not evidence that Deedlit appears in the comic.

How does the new figure differ from other Deedlit collectibles?
The new figure is a roughly 26 cm non-scale display piece. Good Smile Company’s earlier Nendoroid is an articulated figure approximately 100 mm (10 cm) tall, with a stand, optional rapier and spirit parts. It had a preorder in 2024, so it is not the newly announced figure. Good Smile Company also lists the PLAMAX MF-43 Deedlit plastic model kit, which is a buildable model rather than the new finished display figure. The official product pages do not provide a consistent current price comparison.

What did Ryo Mizuno say about the story?
In Studio White’s launch announcement, Ryo Mizuno said: “This new story explores an untold chapter of the war, one that has never appeared in the novels.” The announcement says Mizuno provided the original concept and entrusted its realization to the production team. In the same release, KADOKAWA Corporation Director and CO Naohisa Yamashita described the adaptation as bringing an important KADOKAWA story and part of light-novel history to WEBTOON.
