In a Reddit AMA reported by Insider Gaming on December 11, 2024, Guo was asked about the possibility of a battle royale mode. Insider Gaming quoted his response: “We don’t have such plans for now as our primary focus is on Operations and Warfare.” The report does not reproduce the audience’s exact question.

Is a battle royale mode planned for Delta Force now?
The December 2024 answer is not enough to determine the current roadmap. The available reporting does not establish a newer primary-source statement confirming whether the plans have changed, so the present status remains unconfirmed.

What was Delta Force focused on instead?
Guo pointed to Operations and Warfare as the team’s primary focus. The same December 2024 reporting also discussed the Black Hawk Down campaign. Guo described it as “our love letter to classic Delta Force titles” and said it was set in the 1990s, while the multiplayer portion’s timeline was described as 2035.
India Today Gaming reported the same AMA response on December 12, 2024, also describing the studio’s focus on Operations, Warfare, and the campaign.
