That was a historical milestone, not a current wishlist count; the game later launched on PC under the shorter name Delta Force.
What the wishlist milestone means
GamesBeat reported on August 13, 2024, that Team Jade announced the game had passed 1 million Steam wishlists. The article described the title as still lacking a set release date, with a limited-time PC alpha underway. The figure is therefore best understood as an attributed, time-specific milestone—not a live total or a measure of copies sold.
GamesBeat’s August 13, 2024 report is the source for the number; the available official Steam announcements and store listing do not independently confirm that exact count.
What happened after the announcement
The title changed
On August 20, 2024, an official Steam announcement said the game would be called simply Delta Force and outlined a planned Q4 2024 PC Early Access launch. The shorter name is the one used by the current Steam listing.
