Chapters 3 and 4 are no longer “almost ready”: the official DELTARUNE site says Chapters 1–5 are available now, with more planned as free updates. A June 2026 search result for the official FAQ says Chapter 6 is in development, though an available FAQ capture still contains older Chapter 5 status wording. The latest confirmed release information is therefore Chapters 1–5; check the live FAQ for any newer Chapter 6 update.
What DELTARUNE chapters are available now?
The official DELTARUNE page states: “Chapters 1-5 are available now, with more planned as free updates!” That makes the old update about Chapters 3 and 4 nearing completion and Chapter 5 being in development historical, not a description of the game’s current release state.

DELTARUNE is a chapter-based game featuring bullet-dodging battles and a story written by Toby Fox. The official site describes it as a parallel story to UNDERTALE; the official FAQ clarifies that it takes place in a different world.
When is Chapter 6 coming out?
No Chapter 6 release date is established in the official information available here. A search result for the official FAQ, marked updated June 24, 2026, says Chapter 6 is in development. However, the FAQ capture available for review retains older wording about Chapter 5’s development, so those official materials do not present a consistent, fully current status. The official game page confirms Chapters 1–5 are available and says additional chapters are planned as free updates, but does not give a date for the next chapter.

Why do older updates say Chapters 3, 4, and 5 were in development?
In a September 2022 status update, Toby Fox said the team was working on Chapters 3, 4, and 5 at the same time, with most of its work then focused on Chapters 3 and 4. He also said nothing was ready to release that year. That update explains the old headline’s framing, but it predates the release of Chapters 3–5 and should not be read as current news.
Where can you play DELTARUNE, and is it physical?
The official FAQ search result lists the full game for PC, Mac, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5. It lists the North American price as $24.99; prices in other regions are not established by that result. Because platform and purchase details can change, consult the live FAQ before buying.

The FAQ capture said a physical game edition was not available at the time it was captured; current physical-edition availability is not verified here. The official site links to Fangamer for merchandise, and historical official sweepstakes rules refer to plush toys and other physical goods. That supports the existence of merchandise, not current stock or pricing. Check the official sweepstakes page and the official site’s merchandise link for current information.

The official FAQ search result says future chapters will be provided as free updates once ready. Its available capture also says the game is PS4/PS5 Cross-Buy and that an existing Nintendo Switch purchase includes the Switch 2 version at no additional cost. Since the FAQ materials are inconsistent and purchasing terms can change, confirm those details on the live FAQ for your region and platform before making a purchase.
