WWE separately named Ax and Smash to its Hall of Fame Class of 2026. The game announcement calls this Demolition’s first appearance on a WWE 2K roster—not the team’s first appearance in any wrestling video game.
Which Demolition members are in WWE 2K26?
2K lists all three members—Ax, Smash, and Crush—as Season 2 roster additions. It describes them as first-time appearances on a WWE 2K roster. The announcement also says Crush joined the team in 1990. These additions arrive alongside Kelly Kelly; 2K says the four roster debuts together bring 35 new moves and taunts, a combined total rather than a Demolition-only count. 2K’s Season 2 announcement

How to unlock Ax, Smash, and Crush
Demolition is on the Ringside Pass Season 2 Premium Track, not the Free Track. 2K says new Premium Track DLC characters can be claimed immediately at Tier 1. Other pass rewards are unlocked through gameplay. The pass requires WWE 2K26, an internet connection, and a 2K account.
- Get access to WWE 2K26 on a supported platform.
- Check whether Ringside Pass Premium is already included with your edition. 2K says it is included in the Attitude Era Edition and Monday Night War Edition as part of the Season Pass.
- If Premium is not included, 2K says it can be purchased separately. The April 16 announcement does not state a current price.
- Connect to the internet and use a 2K account to access the pass; claim the new Premium Track characters at Tier 1.
2K’s release note describes the pass requirements and access structure; it does not establish current regional pricing or store availability.

How the Hall of Fame announcement relates to the game
WWE announced Ax and Smash as members of the Hall of Fame Class of 2026, with The Undertaker making the announcement. The WWE page does not give a publication date. 2K’s Season 2 announcement is dated April 16, 2026. The announcements are closely timed, but neither source says the Hall of Fame recognition caused Demolition’s inclusion in the game.
Why Demolition’s tag-team record matters
WWE says Ax and Smash won the World Tag Team Championship at WrestleMania IV and held the title for 478 days. WWE describes that reign as a record that stood for 28 years, until The New Day surpassed it with a 484-day reign in 2015–16. WWE’s Demolition profile lists three World Tag Team Championship reigns.
