Demon Tides looks most appealing if you enjoy shaping how you move through a platforming world. Fabraz’s open-seas adventure gives Beebz transformations and talismans that change traversal, with gear upgrades and move-set changes built into exploration. GamesRadar’s review calls that movement system the standout and describes the game as easier than Demon Turf, though still capable of offering a challenge. That is one outlet’s assessment, not a broad review consensus.
What kind of game is Demon Tides?
Demon Tides is a single-player 3D platformer from Fabraz. Its setting is an open sea dotted with dozens of locales to explore as Beebz uncovers a kingdom’s secrets. Fabraz’s Steam description sums up the central idea: “Expressively platform your way across dozens of locales, upgrading your gear and modifying your move-set every step of the way!” Steam store page

The pitch is less about following one fixed platforming route and more about exploring, taking on platforming challenges, and adapting Beebz’s movement as you go. Steam lists features including achievements, trading cards, cloud saves, leaderboards, and Remote Play on TV; those store details can change.
Why movement customization is the main draw
GamesRadar’s February 19, 2026 review highlights the way Beebz’s demon transformations alter how she interacts with the environment. Talismans and combinations of moves give players further ways to tailor traversal. In practice, that makes the appeal more specific than simply having a large world: the movement toolkit is part of how you approach the spaces within it.
#1 Best Overall
That focus should suit players who like experimenting with abilities and finding their own rhythm through platforming challenges. If you prefer a tightly prescribed sequence of levels or a movement system that stays largely fixed, the game’s emphasis on open exploration and customized traversal may be less compelling.
How challenging is it compared with Demon Turf?
GamesRadar describes Demon Tides as easier than Fabraz’s earlier Demon Turf, while noting that it can still be tough. That makes it sound more approachable than its predecessor without suggesting that every challenge is effortless. The comparison reflects GamesRadar’s review; the available evidence does not establish a quantified difficulty or a wider critical consensus.

Verdict: who should play Demon Tides?
Demon Tides is a promising fit for players drawn to expressive 3D platforming, open-seas exploration, and the ability to change how a character traverses the world. The combination of transformations and talismans gives its movement a clear identity, while the review’s comparison with Demon Turf points to a more approachable experience that still preserves some challenge. Its strongest reason to play is that freedom of movement, rather than a claim that it is universally the best or hardest platformer in its field.
