Those are historical recommendations, not a verified 2026 meta. This PvE-first ranking compares the standout Episode: Revenant weapons by role and perk combination, with PvP distinctions where the available guides make them.
“Revenant weapons” here means weapons introduced, reprised, or highlighted during Destiny 2’s Episode: Revenant. There is no single objective winner in the published recommendations: WowVendor ranked Tinasha’s Mastery first, while GameSpot highlighted Exuviae and Liturgy as standouts. The lists were published in October 2024 and should be read as episode-era advice, not as current-sandbox testing.

Best Revenant weapons ranked
This ranking is PvE-first because the cited roll advice is most specific for PvE. It puts weapons with a clearly described role and roll near the top, while preserving the distinct opinions of the guides rather than treating either publication’s list as an official verdict.
| Rank | Weapon | Role and notable PvE roll | What to know |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Tinasha’s Mastery | Stasis rocket sidearm; Impulse Amplifier and Chill Clip | WowVendor ranked it first among ten Revenant-associated weapons. Its recommendation depends on this specific perk pairing. |
| 2 | Wicked Sister | Heavy grenade launcher; Envious Arsenal and Bait and Switch | WowVendor ranked it second and highlighted the pairing for PvE damage use. |
| 3 | Zealot’s Reward | Energy fusion rifle; Auto-Loading Holster and Controlled Burst | WowVendor ranked it third and recommended this PvE combination. |
| 4 | Exuviae | Standout Revenant weapon | GameSpot called it a standout, but the cited guidance does not establish a specific roll here. |
| 5 | Liturgy | Standout Revenant weapon | GameSpot called it a standout, but the cited guidance does not establish a specific roll here. |
| 6 | Vantage Point | Arc pulse rifle; Arrowhead Break, Tactical Mag, Keep Away, and Jolting Feedback, with a Reload Speed masterwork | GameSpot described it as a reliable choice for Arc builds. This is an editorial roll recommendation, not evidence it remains optimal. |
How the top picks differ
Tinasha’s Mastery: the leading all-around pick in one ranking
WowVendor’s October 10, 2024 list placed Tinasha’s Mastery first and recommended Impulse Amplifier with Chill Clip for PvE. The ranking makes the most sense if you want a Stasis rocket sidearm and can pursue that particular roll; it does not establish that Tinasha’s is the best weapon in every activity or mode. WowVendor also discussed PvP rolls, so its placement should not be taken as a PvE-only measurement.

- To defeat the Red Legion and confront Ghaul, you must reunite humanity’s scattered heroes, stand together, and fight back to reclaim our home
Wicked Sister: a heavy-slot damage option
WowVendor put Wicked Sister second and pointed to Envious Arsenal with Bait and Switch as a strong PvE pairing. Its appeal is tied to that damage-oriented combination and its heavy grenade launcher role, rather than a claim of universal superiority over other heavy weapons.
Zealot’s Reward: a perk-dependent fusion rifle choice
WowVendor ranked Zealot’s Reward third and recommended Auto-Loading Holster with Controlled Burst for PvE. If those perks are the reason you are considering it, evaluate the specific roll you have rather than assuming every copy offers the same value.

Exuviae and Liturgy: standouts without a settled shared ranking
GameSpot’s October 11, 2024 guide described Exuviae and Liturgy as standouts among Revenant weapons. The cited recommendation does not provide a comparable, detailed roll assessment for both, so it supports calling them notable picks, not assigning them a definitive position above or below every weapon in WowVendor’s list.
Vantage Point: a fit for Arc builds
GameSpot described Vantage Point as a reliable Arc pulse rifle for Arc builds and suggested Arrowhead Break, Tactical Mag, Keep Away, Jolting Feedback, and a Reload Speed masterwork for PvE. Treat that as the guide’s suggested roll from October 2024; it is not a guarantee of current optimality.

Why PvE and PvP rankings should not be merged
Perks and weapon roles do not translate equally between activities. The guides distinguish PvP rolls for several weapons, and Bungie’s October 3, 2024 sandbox preview described moving prior Crucible weapon tuning into base PvP damage values while noting small damage changes for almost every primary weapon. A PvE roll recommendation therefore should not be read as a PvP verdict. For PvP, consult the mode-specific perk recommendations in the cited ranking rather than carrying over the PvE combinations above.

Bungie said Revenant seasonal weapons would not be craftable at launch; episode progression instead offered perk enhancement and later unlocks for targeting weapons or gaining extra perks. That made roll chasing relevant at release, but it is historical acquisition context rather than current instructions.

Bungie announced Revenant Act III for January 7, 2025, and said additional weapon and armor balance updates were planned for January 14. Those updates are another reason October 2024 rankings cannot establish present-day performance. The cited sources do not provide a standardized independent benchmark across all candidates, and current 2026 weapon performance is not established here.
Bungie Help says Episode Revenant bounties, missions, quests, engrams, seasonal heirlooms, and artifacts were deprecated when Year 8 began on July 15, 2025. That notice does not say every Revenant weapon was removed, so it is not proof that the weapons are unobtainable. Check current in-game sources for availability rather than relying on launch-era acquisition directions.
