- Decrypt an Echo Engram at the War Table in the H.E.L.M. A June 2024 walkthrough also describes interacting with the War Table to decrypt an Echo Engram, but that historical guidance does not confirm the same interaction is currently available. ProGameTalk’s walkthrough provides that corroboration.
- Within the Pale Heart, allies band together… That is the incomplete wording recorded for this step; its full objective and completion condition are not specified in the available transcription. The quest reference does not provide enough detail to say what to do.
- Complete Mission: Meteoric on Nessus.
- Join Saint-14 and Osiris in the H.E.L.M. The recorded objective is to report to the H.E.L.M.
- The fifth step’s objective is not available in the consulted quest-step excerpt. The quest is described as having seven steps, but the missing objective cannot be filled in reliably.
- Claim valuable data and extract with your spoils in Breach Executable in the H.E.L.M. Bungie describes Breach Executable as an activity in which fireteams investigate Vex disturbances on Nessus, collect data from powerful enemies or activity objectives, and deposit it for extraction.

What to do after decrypting an Echo Engram
After the War Table step, the next recorded objective points to the Pale Heart, but its instruction is truncated. The source does not establish a specific activity, destination marker, or action for completing it. Follow the in-game quest tracker if it supplies the missing direction; if it does not, check the Quest Terminal for a displaced quest before assuming the next step is bugged.

Where to find Mission: Meteoric
The documented third step is to complete Mission: Meteoric on Nessus. The excerpt confirms the mission name and destination but does not give a launch-node location or additional unlock requirements. Use the quest tracker to locate the mission in your current game build.
What Breach Executable requires
Breach Executable is the activity named in step six. Bungie’s episode overview describes its objective as investigating Vex disturbances on Nessus, gathering data from enemies or activity objectives, and depositing that data for extraction. Successful deposits also let Failsafe research upgrades and provide temporary fireteam buffs, according to Bungie’s description.

Is A Familiar Voice the same as A Rising Chorus?
No. A Bungie Help Forum response distinguishes A Familiar Voice as the free introduction from A Rising Chorus, the paid continuation of the Echoes story. If you finish the introduction and cannot access the next story, check whether you own the required episode access rather than treating the two quest names as interchangeable. The forum response recommends checking the Tower or H.E.L.M. Quest Terminal for missing Echoes missions and contacting Bungie Support if a purchased pass does not grant the expected content. Bungie’s episode page gives the original Echoes window as June 11 through October 8, 2024, ending at weekly reset; that page does not say whether this legacy introductory quest can still be started or completed in the live game as of October 8, 2026. Check your in-game quest list and Quest Terminal, and consult Bungie Support if the quest or purchased continuation is missing.

Bungie’s episode page lists New Light and the Season Pass in its entry-requirement field, and says the Season Pass includes the episode story, activities, gear, and premium rewards. That does not establish the present-day account or platform requirements for this legacy quest, so verify access in-game rather than assuming a purchase of The Final Shape is required for the free introduction.
