Destiny 2: The Final Shape launched on June 4, 2024, and Bungie announced three Episodes for its year: Echoes, Revenant, and Heresy. Each was planned as a three-Act story, with Acts arriving roughly six weeks apart. The Collector’s Edition combined Annual Pass content with a digital soundtrack and physical Destiny memorabilia. The schedule and edition details below reflect Bungie’s published 2023–2024 information; they do not establish present-day stock, prices, or the terms of any particular retailer listing.
Which Episodes were announced for The Final Shape year?
Bungie named Echoes, Revenant, and Heresy as the three Episodes for the year of The Final Shape. Bungie described Episodes as the replacement for Seasons in its 2024 storytelling and content-update format, with new story content and rewards in each. Bungie’s Episode announcement introduced the format and the three titles.
In a June 10, 2024 developer article, Bungie characterized Echoes as a self-contained story following events in The Final Shape. Its preview centered on a paracausal anomaly and Vex activity on Nessus, involving Failsafe, Saint-14, and Osiris. Bungie previewed Revenant as a story about an old enemy returning with new tricks, and Heresy as a return to the Dreadnaught and the Hive pantheon. These are the developer’s announcement-era descriptions, not a guide to current in-game content. Read Bungie’s Echoes developer article.
How were Episodes and Acts structured?
Bungie announced that each Episode would have three Acts, with a new Act roughly every six weeks. The Echoes schedule illustrated that plan: Act 1 began June 11, 2024, Act 2 was dated July 16, and Act 3 August 27. Those dates are historical, not upcoming release dates. Bungie’s Echoes article gives the Act dates and cadence.

Bungie’s published information documents what the announced Collector’s Edition bundle included, but it does not settle the terms of a listing for sale now.
